Steve has over 25 years experience in the mercantile industry. Initially starting out as a Commercial Sub-Agent for a well-respected and successful agency in Melbourne, Steve progressed to establish strong relationships with a number of organisations, both large and small, Australia wide.
Steve identified a significant gap in the market which called for not just value for money, but a service that would balance value for money, risk and quality of service. From this, Steve established Asset Recovery Australia, or as you may know it, ARA.
Steve is a member of several industry bodies, including the IMA and has built a strong and ongoing business presence in the industry over the last 25 years.

Asset Recovery Australia is not just a Mercantile agent. We are a risk management tool to help you better manage the risk of outsourcing collection and recovery functions. We provide a service which is balanced not just on delivering you value for money (which we do!), we also recognise the importance of balancing this with strong risk management & quality of service.

Our business has sought advice and input from both internal and external experts on legislative requirements to ensure we not only meet, but exceed these requirements, including NCCP, Privacy Act, ASIC Debt Collection Guidelines and other state and federal Acts / regulations. To ensure we stay current and continue to exceed our obligations, we have a stringent internal risk management system which operates in parallel with our external review process.
